The Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD) helps people with disabilities achieve their goals for employment and independence.

In the spring of 2024, The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services renamed/branded their Vocational Rehabilitation Division to the Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities.

This name change was celebrated with a new look and feel for the Division along with three launch events.
